We like the Sticky Chai for the delicate blend of our signature chai and honey. Great for an early morning or mid-day pick-me-up. But we like taking it as part of our ritual while cozying up with a good read before bed. The blend consists of cloves, star anise, cinnamon, dried ginger, cardamom, black tea, and honey.
Try this recipe: Jacob's Well Sticky Chai (makes 2 cups)
-3tbsp Sticky Chai
-100mL water or
-150 milk or alternative milk of your choice (almond works best)
Instructions:
-Heat 3 tbsp Sticky Chai (until it releases aroma)
-Add 100mL let it simmer for 5-10 mins (stir continuously and avoid boiling over)
-Add 150mL milk (turn off heat upon boiling (stir continuously to avoid curdling and to promote aeration)
-Strain
-Pour on your favorite chai mug for 2
-Optional: garnish with some cinnamon sticks and star anise
-Enjoy!
