Spices In A Chai


Our Indian friend says having a chai recipe is a prerequisite for marriage. And each household has its own recipe for it. 
Chai is packed with health-giving spices. It's a love it or hate it thing, but when you do love it, i guess you really do! I know we do. Not only is it delicious especially when with milk, but it really does the trick. 
So without further ado, here's a rundown of the spices and its benefits found in your Jacob's Well Chai:
1. Ginger 
Known to aid digestion, boost the immune system, improves circulation, and reduce inflammation. People suffering from arthritis should benefit a lot from this root. Some research supports ginger to fight cancer cells.
2. Cardamom

3. Cinnamon

Known to provide fiber and potassium. Also demonstrates to fight cancer cells. 
6. Pepper Corn 
New research suggests black pepper to affect our metabolism and might have fat reducing properties. Also offers antibacterial, antioxidant, and aids digestion.
7. Black Tea
Packed with antioxidant properties. Black tea may also protect LDL (good) cholesterol, helping prevent cardiovascular diseases.
