Welcome to the art of brewing Jacob’s Well Chai! Whether you’re enjoying our masala chai concentrate, fruit tea concentrate, matcha, or our other specialty products, here’s how to bring out the best in every cup. For the perfect cup every time, experiment with ratios and steep times until you find what feels just right. Whether you like it strong and spicy or mild and comforting, we hope each cup brings you a moment of joy and relaxation.
Masala Chai Concentrate
Instructions
- Mix 35-40mL Jacob's Well Chai to 180-220mL of milk (hot/cold); shake or stir well.
- Optional: garnish with cinnamon and star anise.
Fruit Tea Concentrate
Instructions
- Single serve: Mix on a 1:3 ratio.
- 1 part Fruit Tea (40mL), mix to 120mL of water (or soda water).
- For sharing: Mix with 750mL of water or (soda water), add ice.
Matcha
Hot Matcha Latte
- Measure 5-6g Matcha Powder
- Dilute in hot water 30mL
- Top with 120mL hot milk
- Optional: 30mL 1:1 simple syrup
Iced Matcha Latte
- Measure 7-8g Matcha Powder
- Dilute in 30mL hot water
- Mix in 150mL cold milk
- Top with ice.
- Optional: 30mL 1:1 simple syrup
Sticky Masala Chai
Instructions
- 4 tbsp. of Jacob's Well Sticky Masala Chai per 1 cup/ 250mL of milk
- Boil Jacob's Well Sticky Masala Chai with milk
- Turn-off heat upon boil over; let it sit/steep for 5 minutes and stir frequently
- Strain spices and pour onto cup; Enjoy!
*mildly spicy; add sweetener as preferred
*If you want it spicier, add additional 1 tbsp. and let sit for another 10 more minutes after boil.
Teabags
Instructions
- Steep one tea bag in 98c for 3-5mins.
- Take a sip and enjoy!
Tisanes
Preparation:
- Steep 3-5g of your preferred tisane in 100C for 3 minutes.
- Take a sip and enjoy!
Loose Leaf
Hot Masala Chai:
- 3-4 tsp to 200mL water.
- Boil or steep at 100c for 5-8 mins.
- Strain and enjoy!
Jasmine Green Tea:
- 3-4 tbsp to 750L water.
- Refrigerate and steep overnight.
- Strain and enjoy!
Pineapple Oolong:
- 3-4 tbsp to 750L water.
- Refrigerate and steep overnight.
- Strain and enjoy!
