1. Let's begin with the basics! Tell us about your current role at Jacob's Well Chai.
My job as a marketing associate involves diving into SEO strategies, developing insightful and compelling copy, and aiding the team with data-pulling and essential reporting, while also managing inbound and outbound email marketing campaigns. Sound boring? It's not! I like to think of my role as a data storyteller. I use data to tell the story of each customer’s journey, then enhance that journey by depicting the many ways Jacob's Well Chai interacts with them.
2. What do you look forward to working at Jacob's Well Chai?
What motivates me most is knowing that each contributing member of the JWC team is vital. No matter one's position here, the team takes precedence. Every day, we take a few moments to ensure every team member is heard and feels appreciated. Stepping in to work with the JWC team day in and day out is something I look forward to every day. It truly excites me.
3. What's one thing you want others to know about JWC they might not learn from ordering your products, reading the blog, or visiting the website?
Our team members come together weekly for a W.A.R. (Weekly Achievement Report). Don't worry, our version of W.A.R. is peaceful, cordial, and effective, where the team discusses and brainstorms everything from new product launches, the highs and lows from the previous week, introduces and welcomes new employees, and spotlights product feedback from customers who have reached out to us. We always take the time to share back, because our customer's thoughts, reviews, and comments mean a lot to us. It's usually a friendly loop.
4. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I find relaxation and take pleasure in mining and altering thrift clothing, whether restyling, redesigning, reselling, and of course wearing.
5. Lastly, what’s your favorite Jacob’s Well Chai product and why?
That's an easy one: Jacob's Well Chai Original Blend 250mL. I’m obsessed with the OG blend, and I swear this Chai is magic. If you haven’t Chai'd it yet, get it, you won’t regret it!
P.S. My name is Sarah, and I feel proud to be a part of this TEAm! Ralph talks about us a lot to our clients, and even to his personal friends. I feel pleased and validated hearing him do that knowing that we served our role in the team effectively enough that he feels confident in spreading the credit around.
